This little leaf painting, along with another small piece titled ‘Hips’, will be displayed in the upcoming Autumn Treasures exhibition at the Green Gallery, located in the beautiful Dundee Botanic Garden. The exhibition opens tomorrow and will welcome visitors daily from 11:00 AM to 2:30 PM until December 15th.
I recently became a member of The Art and Nature Collective, an inspiring organisation dedicated to supporting artists who delve into the beauty and complexity of the natural, non-human world in their creative practices. .
The Autumn Treasures exhibition promises to showcase a diverse range of perspectives, celebrating the connection between art and the environment.

Each artist contributes their voice and style to this unique collection of works inspired by the brief of small-scale works (20×20 cm) inspired by objects or scenes from autumnal walks.
“The exhibition reflects a broad interpretation of nature’s impact on art. Some artists delve directly into the details of nature, capturing leaves, seeds, or landscapes, while others use the concept as a springboard to explore further themes.
“With over 30 artworks on display, Autumn Treasures highlights the Collective’s wide range of approaches, from realism to abstraction, using materials and techniques that bring seasonal inspirations to life.
